Volunteering

People from Southmead in Bristol share their experiences of the BBC Outreach scheme.

BBC Outreach & Corporate Responsibility brings the BBC closer to its audiences. Through face-to-face activity, community support and staff volunteering we connect with those audiences that have traditionally been harder to reach. We manage a national volunteering scheme in partnership with charities across the UK.

Outreach Volunteering is part of the BBC's Employer supported volunteering offer, in order to participate in Volunteering opportunities you will need your line managers approval. Full details can be found within the Employer supported volunteering guidance. The guidance sits within the BBC's FOI website and can be downloaded here.
